Winter is coming. While most people *brace themselves* for the dreaded season, I can't seem to wait for the cozy cool months to begin. There is something in the air by the end of October and the beginning of November that gets me super excited for no apparent reason. The air getting crisper and less humid, days getting shorter, and nights longer, all are subtle signs that winter is right around the corner, and winter lovers like me couldn't be happier about it.

So here's a list of reasons I like winters so much. Hope you can relate!
Winter mornings: Now I'm absolutely not a morning person. I love to sleep in. But winter mornings don't start early, making it possible to see the sun rise, with a cup of hot coffee and the sound of birds chirping. Talk about perfection.
Hot beverages: Not only do you get to enjoy the cup of joe in the morning, but winters give you an excuse to sip hot beverages all day long.
Holidays: December. The month is synonymous to Holidays. The holiday season is the much awaited part of the year for us all. That celebratory time between Christmas and New Year, yes, we all hold it close to our hearts, even if we don't celebrate Christmas and plan to spend New Year in bed with a book or a movie, which brings me to the next point.
Being in bed all day: Even if you're not the lazy type, who can resist an entire day in bed with your favorite book and a cup of hot chocolate? And blankets!!! Enough said.
Good hair and great skin: Since the winter winds lessens the humidity in the air, every day is a good hair day for us girls. Not to mention, flawless, sweat free and acne free skin! Who wouldn't want that all year long?
Layering all your favorite clothes: One of the best thing about winters is the amount of clothes you can wear. You can layer your favorite sweater with your favorite overcoat and a pair of jeans and beanie caps and scarves and whatnot! All the layers protect you from the cold - and not to mention, hide your fat - and all the colors simply make you blossom.
Sweatshirts: And if you're not feeling girly, pair your favorite hoodie with comfy PJs and some fuzzy socks. After all, it's all about comfort in winters.
Uggs: These boots look great with EVERYTHING during winters, and are super warm and super comfortable.
Fog: If you live in Delhi, you're accustomed to fog during the winter months. Sure, we do not receive any snow, and foggy mornings and evenings are all we get, but there's something about it that turns even the most unsightly places scenic.
